Rhubarb, Kale, and Cherries!!

Ok, this is a good morning..I was able to get up and make a smoothie BEFORE the kids got up, a major win. When I can take care of myself to prepare to caring for them things just work out better…I’ve gotten my smoothie, tea, and coffee made.

My smoothie has some of my Kale and Rhubarb cubes in it, along with frozen Cherries and Blueberries, a grapefruit/Odwalla superfood base with a couple tablespoons of each flax and chia, and one banana that I needed at the beginning to push the frozen stuff down since I’m still waiting for my new Vitamix. I’m really happy with how it turned out! I had another one yesterday with grapefruit, and it was a little too grapefruity, it just tasted like frozen grapefruit even with all these other things in it.

My tea is Tulsi (Holy Basil) because I really want those benefits, and my coffee that I’ll finish with has cinnamon in it…mmmm…
